This oil is an ode to the richness and depth of resins, one of the plant substances that humans have used since ancient times. We find them in all traditions.

This shrub, which grows in the dry rocky terrain of southern Africa, is one of the plants known as "resin coats". Its branches are so rich in a type of resin that they can ignite spontaneously. This explains its other name, "candle bush", and hence Bushman Candle.
